I’d highly recommend the curry miso for anyone looking to put a Japanese / southeast Asian twist on any dish. First dish I made with this is a New York strip steak marinated in a shiitake rub with a tablespoon of curry miso. Cooked over high head in a charcoal grill and the results put me on another level. Served over jasmine rice with roasted vegetables and drizzled a little curry miso overtop. I will post pics next time I make this because I will do it again soon. Excited to try this over a variety of other dishes.
Stan, your meal sounds fantastic, and we're so glad the Curry Miso was the star! 🙌
The curry miso is fantastic. It turns every dish tasty. I’d ordered 6 bottles after testing the bottle I bought from the One of a kind show.
I have only one complaint regarding the shipment. Two bottles inside the package have a small leak. I hope they can seal the bottle lids better in the future.
I love this miso oil because of the twist of the curry flavour! I didn't know I would enjoy it so much, but I was very surprised by the taste and loved it right away and now I can't stop using it haha
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're happy to hear that you're enjoying our product. Your support means a lot to us.
My wife and I use the Okazu Curry on our avocado toast. But first we pour out most of the oil and then spread the pieces over the mashed avocado which is on toasted Ezequiel bread .
An absolutely delicious lunch with a glass of white wine.
You are, might I say, an OKAZU expert!
Hello! I love Curry Miso, but the last order I received was spicier than usual and the label stated “Japanese Chili Oil” instead of “Sesame Oil Condiment” as depicted on the website. Can I still buy Curry Miso in the less-spicy version? Photo attached of conflicting labels….
Hi Susan. The product is actually the exact same, just the label is different (US/CAN). The images on the website show our Canadian labels. The product hasn't changed in years, only the labels are different.
Sometimes, newer, ie fresher, product has more heat and loses potency over time. I hope that helps clear things up! Thank you!
