This recipe is based on our favourite classic pancake, with an added twist. Enjoy a not-too-sweet pancake with a subtle matcha aroma. Adjust the amount of ABO Matcha for a more intense or milder matcha flavour. These pancakes are an easy to prepare crowd pleaser. We like them with berries, banana, maple syrup and whipped cream, with a dusting of more matcha.

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
- 3 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp ABO Matcha Usagi
- 1 ¼ cups milk
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Directions:
- Start by grabbing a large bowl and sifting together flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, and of course, our premium ABO Matcha -Usagi powder.
- Make a well in the centre and pour in the milk, egg, and melted butter. Mix it up until it's nice and smooth.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle over medium high heat. Pour about ¼ cup of batter for each pancake onto the griddle. Brown on both sides to perfection.
- Finally, serve your stack of green tea-infused pancakes hot and bask in the compliments from your impressed brunch guests.
