Spicy Deviled Eggs

This classic appetizer with a spicy twist is perfect for a springtime celebration.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 Tbsp Kewpie mayo
  • ⅛ tsp karashi mustard powder
  • 1 Tbsp OKAZU
  • 2 tsp ABO Miso paste
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Cook the eggs in gently boiling water for 9 minutes, then cool in a bowl of ice water. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice lengthwise.
  2. Scoop out the yolk and mix with the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  4. Garnish with green onions (thinly sliced), sesame seeds (we used black, but white is fine too) and a drizzle of OKAZU.
