OKAZU Chili Miso Garlic Confit
This is an easy recipe for an interesting upgrade to the classic Garlic Confit recipe using OKAZU Chili Miso.
It is perfect for spreading on plain toast, used in sandwiches, flavoring dips, salad dressings, fillings, and added to various dishes as toppings.
This can store up to a week in the fridge.
Ingredients
- 5 heads of garlic, cloves separated and peeled
- ½ cup any neutral oil
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 Tbsp OKAZU Chili Miso
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 180℃ or 350-360℉.
- Add the peeled garlic in an oven-safe tray/container.
- Add the oil, salt, pepper and OKAZU.
- Cook in the oven for 10 mins or until the garlic is soft and spreadable in texture.
- Once it’s done, cool it down, and store in a sterilized container.
